INSPIRATION:
With the concept of the best oils in nature, the visual identity carries the shape of one precious gem as the main element, replicated all over the label in local matte topcoat, contrasting with the black/gold metallic color.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES:
Oleos Preciosos Megeve is a compound rich in 8 of the noblest oils present in nature. (Argan, Avocado, Coconut, Linseed, Macadamia, Ojon, Olive and Sunflower). With its nutritional and emollient properties and ultra-concentrated formula, wipes out the terrible frizz and delivers a salon-worthy shine. Oleos Preciosos means Precious Oil in English.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
This project started in March 2013 in Varginha/BR and finished in December 2013 in Varginha/BR. It first appearance was in the Brazilian Beauty Fair exhibition in 2013 and launched in Brazilian marketing in January 2014.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
Cosmetic packaging made by plastic. Metallic printed label with matte and gloss clear coat. Masque Hidratant Box: Off-set printing process. Colors used: CMYK, Pantone 871C and Black 6, also matte and gloss clear coat. Masque Hidratant packaging engraving: Serigraphic printing process, color used: Pantone Black 6. Labels: Flexography printing process. Silver foil paper. Colors used: Pantone 7559C, Black 6, White, matte and gloss clear coat.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The first approach was to study the competitors and develop distinguishing colors, packaging and forms from them. All the information is gathered on the internet and with competitor products in hand was done in the first 3 weeks of the project development, extracting how a new cosmetic brand can achieve a successful place in the marketing with a modern and irreverent design. The conclusion of this research was: the design had to be clean, sophisticated and easily distinguished in the market with the main brand competitors (Kerastase, Schwarzkopf, and L Oreal).​​​​​​​

CHALLENGE:
Megeve started as a high cosmetic product and introduced not only as one of the most important brands in beauty and hairdresser lifestyle but also in professional marketing. All products needed a high-quality design, packaging differentiation, well-looking, and distinctive label appeal. Transforming the creation process in one of the biggest creations and accomplishment challenges in my professional life.
